LondonEats.com Review:

There aren't many of them left, but Brady's is the finest chippy in south-west London and is good value too. Choose from salmon fish cakes for £2 which can be followed by a large haddock, chips and mushy peas (£7.25), or maybe rollmop herrings and potted shrimps with brown toast. But, don't miss the treacle tart and custard or other traditional English desserts for £1.95. Inside seating or take-away.

i was gutted to see the last review was not posiitve.. (while searching on line to find a mushy pea recipe that comes close to Bradys!)
I live in spain now and once a year for five years we go to london for about 48 hours and the first thing we do is have fishcakes and mushy peas, with loads of dill mayo, at Bradys. sorry, just cant kick the habit. still love it. still cant quite make my peas as well as he can.
but bottom line is it is jsut a caff, so remember that when you take your mum there for her 70th, any you wont be disappointed.

Not great. The Service was at best disinterested and bordering on rude. The decor is not 'retro' it is run down and unloved. The starters were just about ok but all three main courses ordered were grilled fish and all three were blackened and burnt to the point where they were almost inedible. Didn't bother with the desert after that. Extremely disappointing as it was a 60th birthday meal for my mum and at nearly £70 for fish and chips for three I was really expecting a great deal more. I think they have got complacent and stopped trying as they have such a reputation, bit of a touch of the emperor’s new clothes as well. I would not go anywhere near the place again.

I ate there years ago and the food was clandestine. Well worth getting over the other side of the river for. If you love your fish, it's a great way to find the perfectly battered Nemo. Yum Yum.

Great place, lovely street (just by Wandsworth Town Station). I recommend the cod and chips. Quick service, lovely owner. Tends to be either full to the brim or dessolate. Highly recommended.
