LondonEats.com Review:

The new Zizzi's Restaurant stands in the place where a Tex/Mex restaurant was once situated. But what a transformation! Tacky theme eatery into cool airy rendezvous. The pizzas are inventive and tasty. The pasta dishes are served al-dente and are huge. With so many Italian restaurants in Chiswick already (11 the last count), the service is brisk and the prices are very competitive. The only draw back to the place is, it's so popular you usually have to queue as there isn't a table booking policy.

Large modern Italian Pizza place with several tables outside on the pavement (main road). Pizza bases are reassuringly thin, but that’s where Italian authenticity ends - the dough base has a strange puffy texture & odd bread-like flavor. Toppings tend towards the supposedly fashionable pile of uncooked leaves (eg lots of Rocket). Far better to walk 30 meters to Ask Pizzas instead (Pizza Express is directly across the road). Best of all, get in the car and drive 12 min. to  Strada  in Barnes where they serve great authentic Italian pizza.

Have eaten at Zizzi's Canterbury quite a few times and have always found it to be very good in all respects.

We lunched at the Canterbury Branch on 30/12/2003.  The food was stone cold, the pasta was stodgy and dry, the pizza was bland and soggy.  The service was non existant.  I would not recommend this restauarnt to anyone.  In the past we have eaten at Zizzi Restaurants in London and have had excellent service and food.  In the future I will not be returning to this restaurant again

Zizzi restaurant in Chiswick High Road.  We’ve just been for a meal there.  I don’t eat meat and my main course was not what I ordered and I found out it had meat in only when I’d eaten some.  The waiter took it away and brought me what I’d ordered and said that the manager would sort out the bill. When it arrived we had been charged the higher price for the meat thing, with no reflection of my unpleasant and inconvenient experience.  Because it was evening and we have a small child we did not have time to dispute the bill, we paid and left and I hope we won’t be going back.
