A 2001 Moet and Chandon Restaurant Award Nominee. This upmarket Indian eatery has interesting dishes, good portions that are well-spiced and at fair prices. Specials include snapper peri-peri (£9.95), lamb jardaloo ma gosht (£6.25) or grilled giant prawns (£11.85). Expect to pay around £25 per person including drinks.

Mal Monday, August 07, 2006	Rating: 1 3 4 = 2/10 I have been to this restaurant before and had a good experience, but unfortunately the last visit proved to be awful. The food was cold and felt like it had been re-heated several times and wasn't tasty at all. When we mentioned this to the staff (including the manager), the response was poor and indifferent. Heavily spiced and old style cooking. Service was poor with the food literally thrown at you and the waiters unable to speak English. The decor is 70s look and could with a refresh. The food was pretty decent but nothing special and the service and setting is so old and staid. We waited over 20 minutes for our starters and then found there had been a mix up with the order. Overall a very average place with little to shout about. 3387
