One of the best fish and chips I have ever had in London for a very reasonable price. The service was very excellent and friendly. I highly recommend it. Make sure you get the large size dish. You will definitely finish it.

OK, but I have eaten better. Very pricey. Mine was a bit greasy.

This is simple the most wonderful fish restaurant that I have ever had the pleasure of dining in. From the moment I walked I the door, the experience was sheer joy. The place has the feel of a contemporary diner. The black and white photo prints of fishing boats and trawlers contrasted exquisitely with the bright colour scheme in the restaurant. Having sat down, I was greeted with warm and friendly service from one of the waitresses. The menu contained an array of ocean delights ranging from calamari to delicately poached fish. Unlike most other fish and chip restaurants, Mr. Fish offers the customer the choice of having the fish fried, grilled or poached. I opted for the shrimp cocktail followed by poached plaice. The shrimp cocktail was wonderfully prepared and presented and the poached fish was extremely delicate and flavourful. The waitress approched me several times during the meal to inquire whether I was happy with the meal or needed anything. Normally, this is the kind of service that you would expect to see in many restaurants in the United States. Most restaurants in London could learn a thing or two from Mr. Fish. The prices were very reasonble, given the high quality of the food. Overall, brilliant food, superb service and great ambiance. Put it on your list of restaurants to eat in!
