Dear Manzi,s
I have eaten many times in your wonderful restaurant and have stayed in in your hotel also upstairs from the restaruant in Lial Street. Are you still keeping guests upstairs. If so I am looking for accommodation - a twin bedded room from 28th July until 3 August. Please advise me if you can accommodate my sister and myself. we have stayed with you often over the years and love it. We woudl love to come back.
Please let me know if you can accommodate us and I will telephone you with credit card numbers to make the bookings.
Yours sincerly

I have walked past this restaurant many, many times after I have seen films in Leicester Square and wondered "I wonder what that funny place (no pun) is like?". A rush of blood to the head, a desire to lighten the spirits of my better half (and myself) and I thought "try it".

A very decent restaurant. A bit "out-of-date" - but an antidote for so many uber-chic restaurants around. Service efficient without being over bearing. A real selection of diners on the night we were there. The mood was as I describe "you are here to eat, not ponce about". Don't get me wrong, it is by no means a dive, just focussed on the job in hand. Others take note, please.

I had halibut and she had prawns. Both prepared as well as we could hope. I have had prawns and halibut "off the boat" and Manzi's specimens seemed fresh enough to me.

It's pricey in comparison to Two Brothers, Finchley, The Covent Garden Fish and Chip or my all time favourite Central Fish and Chip - but I suppose most of that money goes to paying the exhorbitant rents and rates. Deserves to go on.
