Been coming here since i was 12 and now 79 my Mum used to take me there every saturday what lovely food no one else can match up to them i used to live in Wimbledon and now live in West Sussex but every time we come to London our first call is to Harringtons Ted used to be a Merchant Seaman and was away from this country for 25yrs and when he came back he said pie and mash tasted just the same as when he went away hope you carry on for ever thank you !!! |

Previous reviews have clearly taken their toll. At lunchtime, the restaurant was distinctly empty. However, service was attentive and pretty good. The food was alright but not Michelin star standard. Food was pretty rather than particularly tasty or memorable. There are plenty of other London restaurants like Fabrizio in St Cross Street EC1 or the Salt Yard in Goodge Street, W1 more deserving of Michelin treatment. |

Had an extremely enjoyable family meal here recently. Styish, good service and damn fine coffee (the pizza is great too!). |

Been going to Harringtons for the last 60 years. Hope to be going for the next 60 years. Wandsworth Rd my first tast of necter. Then i got married. What happend to the old black bird that used to sit at the end of the counter, calling out for more pies, not even a please. Always went after Saturday mornning flicks. |

Just left Rick's and felt compelled to write a review for the first time. Food was ok, but over-priced. That wasn't the main issue, that came with the bill. They added on a bottle of wine to the bill (an honest mistake maybe) but having taken payment that's when the fun started. Didn't know how to refund on the card so said they would give us the cash back. They then gave us less than was due even when they had the amount they charged on the bill as well as the amount they should have charged. It's simple maths. Then proceeded to make a big issue out of it, making my finance feel very uncomfortable, the last straw being the guy bringing over a chair to try and explain again. Perhaps try a simple apology, learn maths and try and leave the CUSTOMER feeling happy! Better go to Antelope for a better all round dining experience. |

Harrington’s pie & mash is without a doubt the best cuisine going – so much so that my best friend Lydia Carruthers (of Raynes Park) has been known to eat your leftovers out of the dustbin – a sure fire seal of approval if ever I’ve seen one... I also praise Harrington’s for filling her labyrinth of vodka bottles with vinegar – for although she is a raging alcoholic and the descendant of gypsies – pie, mash and licker will always be her first love... Thank you. |

Probably my worst restaurant experience! We've ask if we can use a voucher. The waiter said she will ask her manager. After having waiting around 15 minutes the waiter came back and took our order. 5 minutes later she came back and told us that the voucher wasn't working here because it wasn't central London. We said that it was alright and that we wanted to order a weekdays menu but she said it was too late! When we had the bill I said it wasn't fair and that we were not happy. Then the manager came and in a very aggressive way told us that it was our problem if we could not read english! Which actually wasn't the problem! As tourists we just didn't know the central london border and that was the reason why we've asked if the voucher was valid before we ordered!!! We've never seen such a rude manager. She obviously never had been taught how to talk to customer. Which kind of weird for someone working in hospitality! The food was as bad as the service. Probably one of the worst pizza I ever had! If you're looking for eatable pizza I recommend zizi or pizza express. |

One of the best fish and chips I have ever had in London for a very reasonable price. The service was very excellent and friendly. I highly recommend it. Make sure you get the large size dish. You will definitely finish it. |
