Question: How much does it cost?
Unlike conventional software, Console is a web-based system with NO up-front purchase costs and no monthly fee.
Bookings generated by a restaurant's own website are charged at between 50p and £2 per cover (this is agreed between the restaurant and the originating website or booking service)
Question: You refer to Console as a 'web-based' application, what do you mean ?
'Web-based' simply means that, unlike conventional software, Console is accessed remotely via an internet connection, in much the same way that online banking works, rather than being loaded onto your local computer.
Question: Can anybody else access my data ?
The Console system works in much the same way as online banking. All of the restaurant's individual information and customer data is held on secure servers and can only be accessed by authorised users at the restaurant, as designated by the restaurant.
The restaurant can add or delete users at anytime.
Question: What if I don't have a computer at the restaurant ?
Even if you don't have a computer then you can still benefit from internet bookings via Console.
We can register your restaurant details over the telephone, set up some basic availability and tell the system to notify you by fax or sms whenever you receive an internet booking. When you want to make use of the customer database you could logon via your home PC.
Question: Do I get charged if a customer cancels, or does not show up on the day ?
Livebookings does not charge for any bookings that are cancelled on the system, or marked as no-shows.
Unlike other restaurant booking sites, LiveBookings invoices after the customer has fulfilled their reservations; not in advance.
