Sir Terrence Conran
Not content with creating the 'Habitat' chain of furniture stores in 1964, Sir Terrence Conran (born 1931) then went on to open a series of restaurants. The first was the Blue Print Café at Butler's Wharf in 1989. There are now over a dozen restaurants in London and new openings in Paris and New York and also plans for Japan.
