37 people have been killed and approximately 700 injured in terror attacks on London's transport network.

UK Prime Minister Tony Blair has returned to Downing Street from the G8 Sumit in Gleneagles. He condemned the terrorists and, echoed by an address by Major Ken Livingstone, paid tribute to the resilience of the people of London.
The Queen said she was "deeply shocked" and sent her sympathy to those affected.
An Islamist website has posted a statement - purportedly from al-Qaeda - claiming it was behind the attacks. Investigations have yet to prove who the culprits are, and why they performed this act of terrorism at this time.
- 0851 - Seven people die in a blast on a train at Liverpool Street station
- 0856 - 21 people die in a blast on a train between Russell Square and King's Cross stations
- 0917 - Seven people die in blast on a train at Edgware Road station
- 0947 - Two people die in a blast on a number 30 bus at Tavistock Place
Underground services stopped and the congestion charge was suspended. Limited bus services are running with buses being searched at depots.
