Personal data is not kept on the LondonEats.com website. All other data is stored within a secure file structure on the hosting server. No data is allowed to be download in any shape or form.
Data protection and privacy
LondonEats.com meets the conditions of the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA). We will not send marketing material unless you subscribed to our newsletter. We will never pass your details to others.
Privacy Policy
The person responsible for privacy at LondonEats.com is the webmaster. The webmaster can be contacted at webmaster@londoneats.com.
The following statement is displayed at the time when personal information is collected:
"In order to complete the transaction, after taking the restaurant details, you will be asked to enter your payment details. You will then be shown a preview screen, where the final price you will be paying is shown. By pressing the 'submit' button, you confirm the order, which is then processed on-line. On completion of this process, you will be told if the order has been successful or unsuccessful. If successful you will be sent confirmation via the email address you supplied earlier. Note, the email address you supplied will not be used for any other purpose than to confirm your order."
LondonEats.com clearly shows which pieces of data are mandatory in order to complete the order and which are optional. We do not collect sensitive information (this is defined in the DPA 1998).
LondonEats.com states that all information is accurate and up to date. Any inaccuracies are amended as soon as they become apparent. We will only hold personal information for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected.
LondonEats.com ensures that the personal information is secure, this includes having an internal up to date security policy. If a customer wants access to their personal information, then this can be requested by contacting info@londoneats.com.
Unsolicited Email
LondonEats.com will not send e-mail to customers unless they have first given their consent.
